Who I am, in brief
My name is Ovidiu Cioflan and I lead the AI and IT side of EKO GROUP. In short, I make sure the things in the background work: the infrastructure, the integrations between applications, and the automations that keep the company’s products running. I started in telecommunications engineering, wrote code in Python and moved through development, project management and client-facing roles — a path that taught me a good system is only noticed once no one notices it anymore, because it simply works.
A good system does not boast — it just works, quietly, day after day.
Engineering principles
I put reliability and security at the foundation. A system must withstand real load and protect data from day one, not as an afterthought.
I automate the small, recurring chores, to free up time for people. Technology is a means, not a showcase — what counts is the concrete problem it solves.
The best solutions start from the team’s needs, not from the newest tool. I listen to people first, then choose the right technology.

I do not guess, I measure. With data on how a system behaves, I can see where it truly hurts and improve exactly there, not at random.

I prefer small steps, tested and easy to roll back, over large, risky releases. The decision stays with the human; AI only helps reach it faster.

In short, I turn manual processes into secure, easily scalable flows. I rely on automation, low-code and API integration, connect the systems teams use every day and make sure everything stays reliable and protected — so technology saves time instead of creating new worries.
How can automation help my business?
Automation takes over the repetitive work that eats your time: moving data from one place to another, sending reports, updating lists. I always start from a simple question — “what problem are we solving?” — and automate only what is worth it, so people are left with the decisions, not the routine.
Can you connect the apps we already use?
Yes. Most of the time you do not need to replace your tools, just make them talk to each other. Through API integration I connect existing apps — CRM, spreadsheets, marketing platforms, internal tools — so data flows on its own, without manual copying back and forth.
