Ovidiu Cioflan

We build relationships that last.

At EKO GROUP I own the AI side and the IT infrastructure. I put together automations, API integrations and architectures that hold up at scale, so the team stops losing time on repetitive work. To me, a good system is one you barely notice — it runs, it's secure, and it lasts. Glad you found your way here.

About me

Who I am, in brief

My name is Ovidiu Cioflan and I lead the AI and IT side of EKO GROUP. In short, I make sure the things in the background work: the infrastructure, the integrations between applications, and the automations that keep the company’s products running. I started in telecommunications engineering, wrote code in Python and moved through development, project management and client-facing roles — a path that taught me a good system is only noticed once no one notices it anymore, because it simply works.

A good system does not boast — it just works, quietly, day after day.

Engineering principles

Reliability & security

I put reliability and security at the foundation. A system must withstand real load and protect data from day one, not as an afterthought.

Automation with a purpose

I automate the small, recurring chores, to free up time for people. Technology is a means, not a showcase — what counts is the concrete problem it solves.

People, then tools

The best solutions start from the team’s needs, not from the newest tool. I listen to people first, then choose the right technology.

How I work

Simple engineering rules

Technical convictions I build my systems and my team around, day to day.

Automate the repetitive

Any step done by hand twice is a candidate for automation. I leave the dull, repetitive work to machines, and people keep the decisions.

Measure, then improve

I do not guess, I measure. With data on how a system behaves, I can see where it truly hurts and improve exactly there, not at random.

Ship small and reliable

I prefer small steps, tested and easy to roll back, over large, risky releases. The decision stays with the human; AI only helps reach it faster.

What colleagues say

People I build with

We had three apps that never talked to each other. Ovidiu wired them up properly, and now the data flows on its own — we no longer lose a day a month copying things back and forth.
Cătălin R. Operations Lead
The automation their team set up pulled us out of routine work. Reports that used to take me a whole afternoon now arrive ready-made, in the morning.
Diana S. Marketing Director
What I value about Ovidiu is that he does not sell technology for its own sake. He first asked what was slowing us down, then proposed exactly what we needed — nothing extra, nothing that breaks.
Vlad N. Founder
Since we started working with them, the systems simply run. We no longer hold our breath that something will crash in the middle of a campaign — and that calms the whole team.
Raluca G. Project Coordinator
The lead generation side works without me having to babysit it. Ovidiu built it to be reliable, not just impressive in a demo.
Sorin A. Product Manager
My first concern was data security, and here I got clear answers, not platitudes. You can tell that, for them, protecting information is not a box ticked at the end.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers

Who is Ovidiu Cioflan?

Ovidiu Cioflan is Director of AI & IT at EKO GROUP. He looks after the technical side behind the agency — infrastructure, integrations between apps and automations — so that the company’s products run predictably, day after day.

What exactly does a Director of AI & IT do?

In short, I turn manual processes into secure, easily scalable flows. I rely on automation, low-code and API integration, connect the systems teams use every day and make sure everything stays reliable and protected — so technology saves time instead of creating new worries.

How can automation help my business?

Automation takes over the repetitive work that eats your time: moving data from one place to another, sending reports, updating lists. I always start from a simple question — “what problem are we solving?” — and automate only what is worth it, so people are left with the decisions, not the routine.

Can you connect the apps we already use?

Yes. Most of the time you do not need to replace your tools, just make them talk to each other. Through API integration I connect existing apps — CRM, spreadsheets, marketing platforms, internal tools — so data flows on its own, without manual copying back and forth.

How do you handle security and client data?

I put reliability and security at the foundation, not as an afterthought. Data is treated like something borrowed: access limited to those who need it, protected transmission and monitoring that flags early if something is off. Security is part of the design, from day one.

How long until I see a result?

It depends on the process, but I prefer small, concrete steps over huge projects that drag on. Often a first useful automation is ready within days, and we build from there gradually. That way you see value early and we adjust along the way, without surprises.

Do you work with companies outside EKO GROUP?

Yes. I enjoy lending a hand to teams that want to bring order to their processes and systems. The best way to start is a short conversation about what is slowing you down right now — from there I can tell whether and how I can help.
