My name is Ovidiu Cioflan and I lead the AI and IT side of EKO GROUP. In short, I make sure the things in the background work: the infrastructure, the integrations between applications, and the automations that keep the company’s products running. I started in telecommunications engineering, wrote code in Python and moved through development, project management and client-facing roles — a path that taught me a good system is only noticed once no one notices it anymore, because it simply works.
My work means turning manual processes into intelligent, secure and easily scalable flows. I rely on automation, low-code and API integration, but never for the sake of technology: the goal is to save people time and hand them tools they can trust. I build with reliability and security first, speed second — and I prefer a simple system that holds up over a spectacular one that breaks at the first real load.

I like taking things apart to see how they are built on the inside — from a small script that shortens a chore, to a whole automation flow wired end to end. What I enjoy most is taking something clunky and manual and turning it into a mechanism that runs on its own, quietly, without me watching over it.
Technology moves fast, especially on the AI side, so I always keep something to read or try out. I test new tools on small projects, find their limits, and keep only what genuinely helps. In this line of work, I believe the moment you stop learning is the moment you fall behind.
I like passing on what I have learned — sitting next to a junior colleague and showing not just how a problem is solved, but why that way. I follow open-source projects closely, because there you see people from different places building, together, something useful to everyone.

I build and maintain the in-house application through which EKO GROUP finds its clients: the engine that searches companies, extracts the relevant contacts and ranks leads by priority. I handle the architecture, the API integrations and the automated flows that tie it all together, so the sales team receives clean, ready-to-use data.

I look after the technical side behind the DOOH screen and totem network: delivering content to the displays, monitoring their status and the automations that keep everything in sync. The goal is a network you can rely on — campaigns run on time, and issues surface early, not after the fact.
Publishing · Integrations · Scale
I build the tools and integrations that hold up EkoTV and the press-site network: automated publishing, connecting the systems to one another and the infrastructure that carries a large volume of content without choking. Here the stake is scale: it must work just as well at ten pages as at thousands.
